Patrolling the “Electric City” is a series of images that follows the daily lives of the officers of the Scranton Police Department in Pennsylvania. The photographs show the relationship between the police and citizens as well as the emotional impact the job has on the officers. I am attracted to document people’s lives to feel human myself and to reflect my philosophies visually through the work. My photographic work is as much my story as it is theirs.
